What does the resulting price mean?

Upon clicking the Calculate button after entering the Original Price, and the Discount percentage, two new boxes will appear. They will be showing the Discounted Price and the Saving. So you get an idea of how much you'll be saving by availing a certain discount offer.

Let us demonstrate with the help of an example for your better understanding. Let's suppose that you have an offer of availing 30% OFF on an item of $150. If you want to find the discounted price of that item, then you have to input 150 as the Original price, since the item's actual cost is 150 USD. And, you have to enter 30 in Discount Percentage, which is the percentage that you are getting Off the actual price. The answers given by the tool are:

  • Discounted price: $105
  • Saving: $45

Hence, the final price after applying a 30% discount on a product of $150 is $105. And the saving value is calculated by subtracting the discounted price from the original price. i.e. $150 - $105 = $45 saved!
