| Canadian Internet Policy and Public Interest Clinic (CIPPIC) released a study on DRM and Privacy concluding that fundamental privacy-based criticisms of DRM are well-founded; that IP Addresses are collected by DRM programs, used for tracking purposes, and disclosed at will; and that no facility for opting out of disclosure is usually provided.
